US Visa Social Media Disclosures (even Youtube) - see the new DS-260 US immigrant visa app question

The US immigrant DS-260 visa application now requires social media disclosures. The social media affected include some of the usual suspects, the WhatsApps, WeChats, Vibers, Facebooks, Instagrams, LinkedIns of the world, but it also asks for some less obvious ones, like YOUTUBE, and reddit, and international giants like WeChat.

In requiring this, the USA is taking another culturally symbolic step in becoming a Big Brother country. If we can put our mourning aside for a moment, then it is important to look at the practical impact of this on U.S. visa applicants. What do you actually have to disclose? What happens if you do not disclose? Should you clean and turn off social media you don't use?

If you are wondering whether the social media reporting requirements affect you, and what they actually require, and how your answers can impact your visa application or nonimmigrant/immigrant status, then watch this video.

I show you how the reporting requirement actually works on the NVC application, with a video of what it now looks like when you fill out the DS-260.
