दिल्ली-एनसीआर में 1 सितंबर से लगातार हो रही रिकॉर्ड तोड़ बारिश ने हालात बिगाड़ दिए हैं। सड़कों पर जलभराव, भारी ट्रैफिक जाम और नदियों के उफान ने लोगों की मुश्किलें बढ़ा दी हैं। सितंबर में ही तापमान 30 डिग्री से नीचे चला गया है, जिससे अक्टूबर जैसी ठंड का अहसास हो रहा है। मौसम विभाग (IMD) के अनुसार, 6 सितंबर तक रुक-रुक कर हल्की बारिश जारी रहेगी, लेकिन तेज बारिश का दौर अब थमता नजर आ रहा है। 4 सितंबर से तापमान बढ़ना शुरू होगा और 8 सितंबर तक 35 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक पहुंच सकता है। वहीं हिमाचल, उत्तराखंड, पंजाब, जम्मू-कश्मीर और हरियाणा में भारी बारिश और भूस्खलन को लेकर रेड अलर्ट जारी है। हिमाचल प्रदेश में 7 सितंबर तक स्कूल-कॉलेज बंद कर दिए गए हैं।

The sudden dip in temperature has made Delhiites feel October-like chills in September. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), light to moderate rains will continue till September 6, while heavy downpour is unlikely. From September 4 onwards, temperatures will gradually rise, reaching up to 35°C by September 8. Meanwhile, IMD has issued alerts across North India including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand with warnings of heavy rain, flooding, and landslides
