Are Alba Watches any good? ‘Tuna’ or ‘Monster’?

Alba Watches was started by Seiko Watch Corporation in 1979 and continues to serve the affordable watch category with iconic Seiko designs.

I have put two Alba Automatic watches under the scanner in this video, while the first one is inspired by Seiko Monster, the other one is a Seiko Tuna design.

The automatic movement used here is Calibre Y676 which is basically the 7S26 Movement that was discontinued a few years ago. A stainless steel construction in a 43mm dial with a green dial with unique hands and indices is the talk of the town.

The Mineral glass does okay to divert those scratches away while the Day-Date functionality is nice to have. With a Power Reserve of 41 hours, this is a great watch to own.
