Lithuania Spend 110 Million Euro To Purchase NASAMS II
Norwegian mobile (ADMS) or anti-aircraft missile systems medium-range NASAMS Lithuania will cost 110 million euros, said the defense Minister Raimundas Karoblis who signed the agreement to purchase the SAM for the Lithuanian Armed forces.
It is a bit smaller than planned initially said on Thursday the Minister.
Officials did not disclose the exact amount that SAM, but they will be equipped with two batteries. It will not allow you to create over Lithuania the so-called no-fly zone, and SAM will be deployed in priority areas that will establish command.

Kongsberg said deal for the mid-range air defense system, signed Thursday, was worth 109 million euros ($128 million).
Lithuania says delivery of the system is scheduled to be start next year and be complete by 2021.
