Matching Fly Lines to Rods: Don't go just by the line rating on the rod as they can do so much more

In this video we talk about how to change the feel of a rod by changing the line. Loomis Light Presentation (LP) rods are meant to have a better feel at short to mid range fishing, while the standard taper rods have a nicer feel mid to long range.

Both types of rods can fish close in to long range, it's more about the casting feel. As an example, in this video, I make a standard taper NRX feel like an LP NRX simply by changing the line.
