Proto 2000 ALCO FA/FB-1 Loksound Upgrade - Union Pacifc 1624/1624B

Finally got this pair off the workbench! The ALCO FA/FB is probably my favorite type of diesel locomotive, I’ve always liked the shape and in my opinion they look best in UP Yellow. For this set only the A-unit is equipped with a Loksound V5 decoder and a Scale Sound Systems speaker. The B-unit uses a non-sound LokPilot V5 speed-matched to the A-unit and sharing an address. The sound from the A-unit more than makes up for both. I’m very satisfied with how these turned out, though I may make a few lighting upgrades in the future.
