Hier nochmal die A/P Methode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfFDzoDM5cQ

[-ENG-] Besides the Reverse Electroplating und A/P Acid Peroxide methods, to recover gold from electrical contacts, it will also work with using some nitric acid. Nitric acid dissolves most base metals and even silver, but it doesnt dissolve any gold. Using nitric acid with gold plated pins, it will dissolve all copper from the pins cores, only the gold plating remains. This method is very effetive, but it also produces some toxic NOx gases.
I learned about this method from another video "How much gold can be recoverd from gold-plated pins??", uploaded couple of weeks ago, by the YT-Channel "TI Mediaholding": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o2PNDU3MwM !!! With a closer look, there are some more videos with pins and nitric acid, but showing only the reaction of the acid itself. So, in my video, I will show the whole procces again, incl. filtering and drying.
In my video, I used 15 grams of older pins from 1970s electronics. Those are pins containing a much higher amount of gold, compared with pins of recent electronics. As a final result, I got about 0.19 grams of gold-foils out of 15 grams of pins.
A/P Methode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfFDzoDM5cQ
