Space Shuttle Endeavour's Final Liftoff

The Space Shuttle Endeavour will be on display at the future Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center in a launch configuration... fully stacked as it would have been on the launch pad prior to liftoff. In this final step, the Space Shuttle Orbiter will be lifted and mated to the External Tank, with SRBs already installed on either side.

The Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center, part of the California Science Center, is currently under construction and will feature the vertical Shuttle.

This orbiter, Endeavour, performed 25 flights between 1992 and 2011. It spent 7,179 hours in space and completed 4,671 orbits around the Earth.
