Kuro in the Manga/anime is a D-tier villain along with Don Krieg.
Live action Kuro puts him on the same level as Arlong, I love that they made Kuro a slasher villain.

The first soundtrack I heard in the series that's top tier. When Kuro stabs Merry and this song just drops, sounds of hell cat wailing. Just absolute greatness.

They gave him a prowler theme and it makes the way they already portrayed him great so much better

I never understood why Kuro doesn't get the recognition he deserved. He's the first serious evil pirate Luffy faces. He was basically the opposite of Luffy, calculating, heartless and he actually hates being a pirate. The most important moment is when Kuro starts blindly killing his own crew during his ultimate attack that's so fast he can't control where he goes. That's why Luffy got so mad at him.

One Piece is a fantasy adventure television series developed by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda for Netflix. The story begins with the execution of the infamous pirate captain Gold Roger. His death sparks a frenzied hunt for his hidden treasure, known as the 'One Piece.' Twenty-two years later, Monkey D. Luffy, an aspiring pirate, crosses paths with the cruel pirate Alvida and her mistreated cabin boy, Koby. Using his unique elasticity powers acquired from eating a Devil Fruit, Luffy defeats Alvida, befriends Koby, and embarks on a quest to find the Grand Line, where the One Piece is rumored to be.

On their journey, Luffy and Koby encounter Roronoa Zoro, a swordsman wrongly sentenced to execution. After a confrontation with Marine Captain Morgan's corrupt son, Helmeppo, Luffy rescues Zoro, and they are joined by Nami, a cunning cat burglar with her own agenda. Together, they face off against Morgan, seize a map to the Grand Line, and set sail on the Going Merry, a ship gifted to them by the kind Kaya.

They encounter Buggy the Clown, who has ties to Luffy's childhood hero, Shanks. Luffy and his friends ultimately defeat Buggy and free the people of Orange Town. They make their way to Baratie, a floating restaurant, where they meet Sanji, a talented chef. The crew faces off against Warlord Dracule Mihawk and, despite defeat, gains a new member in Sanji.

In Conomi Island, where they learn about Nami's tragic past and her mission to save her village from the oppressive Fishmen Pirates, led by Arlong. The Straw Hat Crew helps Nami confront her past and defeat Arlong, earning them a new enemy in Marine Captain Nezumi and a bounty on Luffy's head.

After a fierce battle with Garp, Luffy's grandfather, the crew solidifies their resolve and sets out to pursue their individual dreams as Straw Hat Pirates.
