So, Splatoon 2's v3.0 update just hit and I'm honestly chuffed, especially with Callie back in the Tentakeel Outpost, the return Camp Triggerfish, lovely new gear and weapon variants, and, of course, THE MUSIC! When I first watched the trailer from the direct, I immediately recognised the signature Chirpy Chips sound and fell in love, which resulted in what lies before you right now!

Super stoked that the Chirpy Chips (I still prefer their Japanese name ABXY) returned with TWO hot new track! Blitz It!/Chip Damage was definitely my favourite of the two though, with super high energy and that AMAZING chiptune solo. And so, in remixing, I opted for DnB, because I wanted to keep up that high energy and lovely chip aesthetic, despite my inexperience with the genre, and I think it worked out wonderfully. I definitely loved transcribing the chip solo, and was really intrigued by the chord choices in the original track, especially the sus chord at the end of the solo which was just asking for me to add a key change!

I'm really happy I got this one out, I enjoyed making it and I hope you all enjoy listening! I'd like to thank slypeorli for letting me use their artwork, it looks super great and fits so well! I also can't believe the support on this channel, especially for the Splatoon content, because I'm absolutely obsessed with Splatoon! That being said, I have been neglecting my other circles as of late, so hopefully, I'll get something Ace Attorney related out the next time round! Stay tuned~
