the loneliness epidemic (short film)

We talk about depression, anxiety and other mental health issues, but we often forget one of the biggest side effects: loneliness.
In this video, I tried to capture the feelings & mood of living in lockdown, but also shine some light on the issue of feeling left out, whether there's a pandemic going on or not.

I wrote this based on emails I received & browsing through thousands of pages online.
I just want to say that although this video doesn't have an actual happy ending - so many of the stories I've read online had one - please don't give up. The right time and the right people will come along at some point... I know it's even harder now, but we can get through this.

Please note, some of the footage was taken (most, actually, a few shots by me), from the pexels website, due to current circumstances. I live in the UK where the new strain is much more contagious than the original one, so I sadly couldn't shoot myself.
