In this episode, we low test the Victron energy 10 kva 48 V inverter charger. We loaded up with inductive loads and resistive loads and it handles it just fine according to spec. It can also handle peak surges and reloaded until it overload and cuts out. The inverter test may have been limited by the batteries connected, which was at 200 A but this inverter is rock solid and highly recommended.

Similar to the MultiPlus, the Quattro is also a combined inverter and charger. Additionally it can accept two AC inputs and automatically connect to the active source. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology plus multiple system integration features such as three or split phase operation and parallel operation.

Victron Autotransformer 120/240V-100A
Victron’s Autotransformer can be used for step-up, step-down, and split-phase output balancing purposes. When operating in inverter mode, the neutral output of the inverter/charger must be connected to the ground to guarantee the proper functioning of a GFCI. In the case of a split-phase supply, the neutral must be grounded. For this purpose, a grounding relay is built into the autotransformer’s enclosure.
