English Causative Verbs - MAKE, LET, HAVE and more. Part Two
When you want to indicate that one thing causes another, you'll need a causative verb. They're jolly handy, but not always easy to use. In part one of this lesson we looked at lots of examples of the meanings of the most common causative verbs (make, let, and have). You can see it here: https://youtu.be/WySqUOO6ow8
This is part two which is focused on the grammar. Causative verbs follow different structures and the most common ones are a bit tricky. So in this video we look at the grammatical structures, so you know the patterns to follow to use them correctly.
The causative verbs 'have' and 'get' are often used in the passive -so we say we're having something done or getting something done. We've already published a video about that which you can see here: https://youtu.be/I-O6thNzaWo
