Chateau Life 🏰 EP 13; SAVING THE ANCIENT SWAN HOUSE!

We're continuing our transformation of the unloved north face of the Chateau's moat and banks this week with an extremely overdue project; the ancient Swan House!

Many years ago the Chateau had Swans which lived in its lakes and they had their own very large house on the edge of the moat.

As you can imagine this was no small or hastily built structure for such a majestic animal but solid wood frames with fantastic carpentry and real tiled roof.

Fast forward a few hundred years, Swans are gone and time has not been kind so we decided before it was way too late it needed rescuing; no easy task when it's extended into water!
