Bach was a composer of the Baroque period, considered as probably the best and most influential of history. He was born in Eisenach, current Germany, the same year as Haendel. He was an excellent organist aswell as msater of many other instruments. He was not famous in life but his compositions became extremely popular after his death, keeing that status even nowadays. For exmple this cello suite, is part of the popular movie soundtrack Master and commander, the same as many other of his compositions are being used for commercials or other cinematic projects.
The life of Bach was not really interesting, there is no room for conspiracies or mysteries like Mozart´s, but it explains his prolificy in terms of music production. Bach was under the orders of different patrons, men that made him compose a big amount of works. Also, his religious beliefs, made him want to reach God through music, (Bach was a convinced lutheran).
