Tippet Rise on Tour: Spring Festival CONCERT FILMS | Friday, April 16, 2021 6PM MDT

Tippet Rise on Tour is a virtual three-day festival of 10 short films.

Each day of the festival will begin with a 5:30PM MDT live “backstage” gathering via Zoom, giving artists the opportunity to discuss their performances, followed by the release of the films at 6PM MDT. For more information about and to join the live Zoom discussion, please click here.

For the first day of Tippet Rise on Tour: Spring Festival, Friday, April 16, Tippet Rise presents two films captured at the DiMenna Center. The first features violinist Katie Hyun—founding member of the award winning Amphion String Quartet and founder and director of the Quodlibet Ensemble—performing Vytautas Barkauskas’ Partita for violin solo. For the second film, Tippet Rise’s Artistic Advisor, Pedja Mužijević performs in a program titled Is It Real (A Loving Homage to Surrealism), which includes music and spoken word by Satie, Schwitters, and Antheil.
