The First Team Storm portable basketball goal is a smart choice for a range of competitors. This video demonstrates how easy it is to setup, adjust, lock and break down this extremely heavy-duty hoop, backboard, net and post. Adjustments can be made in 6-inch increments from 6 feet to regulation height 10 feet. But just because it’s easily movable by a single person doesn’t mean it isn’t tough. This basketball goal can stand up to dynamic, vigorous basketball.
To move it, just grab the rim from the front and push or pull the entire unit. Once you have it moved to where you want it, the hoop is raised to the desired rim height in 5 simple steps.
1. Loosen the tensioning knob on the adjustment rod.
2. Remove the rim height pin.
3. From the back of the goal, raise the upright mast to the desired height.
4. Replace adjustment pin and tighten the knob.
5. Lock unit into position to prevent movement.
Locking the wheels is also easy. You remove the leverage tool from inside the base and engage the wheel’s brake, pulling it up to lock the wheel and keep it from rolling. By rotating and snapping the pin into place, you prevent the caster from swiveling.
