Random Thought:
So... have I mentioned how I'm not a fan of spring storms? Our area (southern Illinois) was once again in the bullseye for severe weather yesterday. Initially, I thought we were going to make it through the evening with very little trouble... things just seemed to be going north or south of us. But as more storms developed, I could see that what meteorologists were describing as a likely tornado with strong rotation was going to come right into our county.

Well, where we live, we ended up getting the northern part of that cell (small hail & some of the heaviest rain I've ever witnessed- it looked totally white outside...no visibility out the window, but not that much wind), and the little notch indicating a tornado went to our south and strengthened as it went eastward. It ended up being very destructive south of Marion, IL.... homes leveled, people trapped, nearby interstates closed. I was in tears last night just looking at the pictures that were all over my Facebook feed. I know St. Louis and parts of Kentucky also got hit hard. I was telling Bub last night- do you see where my storm anxiety comes from? In this area, it just seems like such a REAL and continuous threat this time of year. I'm praying for all affected and seeking out ways to help those in our area today.
