Razor Pocket Mod Three Wheel Go Kart - Built in a Day with Spare Parts

It's Spring Break 2022 and what better way to spend it than building a homemade go kart. We looked around for spare parts to assemble our go kart and used a Razor Pocket Mod scooter that we picked up at a sale for $2, an old go kart frame that was in a scrap metal pile, and 2 wheel barrow wheels. We were able to use a 24 volt E-bike battery we had to power it, but you could make something like this with normal lead acid batteries, or use power tool batteries. It was pretty easy to make the conversion and the car is pretty fast, handles great and can be driven by adults or 5 year olds.

In this video we show how it performs, the kids love it! In the future we plan to paint it and potentially upgrade the motor to a 36v or 48v, then it would really zip. Thanks for watching!
