Long Sitting: Assumption from Supine
In this topic, we will cover the management of patients with spinal cord injury (SCI).
This playlist shows how we train patients to perform different bed mobility skills. These skills are essential for patients’ independence. They are needed for their own (for example, rolling or come to sit), or as part of other tasks (for example, weight shifts and muscle strengthening). The methods of practicing those skills can vary widely, and they depend on the patient’s condition, level of injury, and its completeness. What is presented in this videos is just one way of practicing, and it can be definitely modified as needed.
