DCS World - MiG-15 - Intercepting B-29 in MiG Alley, Korea 1951

In February 1951, UN forces try to increase pressure on their Communist opponents by sending airstrikes against their supply lines between China and North Korea. B-29 bombers are selected for this task. However, after takeoff from Japan, they encounter strong headwinds and their F-80 Shooting Star escorts return to base because of their low fuel state.
North of Yalu river, a group of MiG-15 fighters takes off from Antung airfield. Their leader is Soviet Lt Col Kolyadin, a WWII ace with 15 kills to his credit. His group will have a chance to intercept the B-29s without fighter escort in their way.
This is the second Korean War historic reenactment using DCS World on this channel.
