Some days I flip my lid : Alka-seltzer Rockets

This is a super fun, exciting, and a bit dangerous bibliotherapy intervention. The first part of this intervention is to read "Some days I flip my lid" by Kellie Bailey and illustrated by Hannah Bailey and published through PESI publishing. The brilliant Dr. Dan Siegel introduced the "Flipping your lid" concept. Flipping your lid can be pretty dangerous and unexpected, but this book gives strategies to calm down. The metaphor of safety goggles and ways to stay safe when we have big reactions is a helpful way to help kids understand their brains and bodies and the importance of keeping them safe and others safe.
