Physics experiment of Synchronization (Self sustained mechanical oscillator)

Synchronization: Synchronization is a common phenomenon in physics. Synchronisation in self sustained mechanical oscillator. This Synchronization experiment is a cheap and table top experimental demonstration of a complex phenomena of Synchronization. In Synchronization, Self-oscillation is the generation and maintenance of a periodic motion by a source of power that lacks any corresponding periodicity.
It's set up on rollers so that it can move from side to side. When any two metronome arms hit, their forces on the platform either cancel out or add together, depending on how out of or in sync they are.
Synchronisation in self sustained mechanical oscillator. To achieve a state of synchronization for oscillators coupling is necessary it may be very weak or just sufficient or very strong. In this example coupling can be tuned by changing the weight of platform. If platform is light weight coupling will be strong, else for heavier platform coupling will be weak. This experiment is a cheap and table top demonstration of a complex phenomena like Synchronization.
