The Untold Story Of Dru Hill's "In My Bed (SoSoDef Remix)"

The music industry is a mine field, and most of the times there is nobody to help you navigate through the treachery. You've heard hundreds of stories how artists getting got for money that they've been owed over several occasions, and now you can add Sisqo and Dru Hill to that category.

In an exclusive sit-down with STASHED, Sisqo of Dru Hill explained how they didn't make any money from one of their biggest songs. The "In My Bed (So So Def Remix)" to this day, is still one of the biggest records in R&B/Hip-Hop history, but it's a song that the group won't even perform.

"If i'm going to work with anybody out here nowadays, it has to be organic," explains the lead singer. "I'm not going to hunt nobody down because that was a play that was made by the label to work with Jermaine [Dupri]. We was fans walking into the door because Jermaine already had success. But when he got all the credit and the money for the So So Def remix...it was awesome because it was a learning experience."

Check out the never-before-heard story on the making of this classic record. How's that for a Throwback Thursday?
