Orientation is always an important task in 360, especially working with moving shots. Some applications can track objects and certain points automatically, but they doesn't work with any 360 footage and most of the cases they are only available on mobile devices.

On desktop, after applying software stabilization, most of the videos follow the starting direction which is really great, because it makes the video more watchable, as it helps the viewers to look around easily and they don’t lose control over the video.

But in special cases we don’t want to keep these "fixed directions", but we want the camera to take every turn with us, especially during skateboarding, skiing, riding a bike, or taking long driving scenes. The point is that there are some turns on the go, which we want to follow in the video.

In this tutorial I show you how to track objects like a bike rider, skier (or anyone else) to create an immersive third-person-view, during winding trip.
