Tower Cam~Diamond is feeding probably Barru on the roof ~5:08 pm 2023/11/17

It was a long feeding. video is cut to a few minutes. She flew off with the rest of food. ZOOM video and part of it in SLOMO
BTW: Dianond brought a huge pigeon to the nest box. After a while she flew away with it.

📍 I forgot! The sound comes from this live stream! The tower camera doesn't have a microphone, but you can hear the noises, when I have the stream in the player (Potplayer) . I can't record the noise, the only way to record the sounds is via Screen Record. This means I hear the noises from one of the other cameras. Probably the Box Bamera.

Marri (I think) spotted about 200 m from the tower on 15th. She was on the ground and while I turned my back on her to take a photo, she took off and disappeared. So all is well.

And evening of 15th about 6 pm I'm pretty confident I saw Barru in a tree with Xavier. I was several hundred metres away, so this is a rather shaky video: https://youtu.be/LYPoMN0cnhE
No sign so far today - the same tree only had the starling in residency!

Both youngsters fledged really well both on 14/1123: Marri (at 43 days) at 0939 and Barru (at 42 days) at 1536. Videos on the channel.

They may return to the box after a few days (or not) . Either way they stay in the area for a month or two learning to hunt. And the parents still feed them during this period if needed.

Tower cam was replaced on 14th November. It provides clearer images, zoom and pan capabilities (360 degrees). Note that at present I can only change the image when I'm at work. It's the same url. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m68GXZf4B7c

LAST SEASON
Two chicks last year: Indigo and Rubus, both males. Indigo dispersed after Diamond blocked his entry to the nest box on 18th March. Rubus died of a flying accident nine days after fledging.

GENERAL INFORMATION
This is a research project through Charles Sturt University, Orange, New South Wales Australia, studying the diet and use of a nest box of a family of peregrines living in water tower since 2007.
