Sony Xperia 5 Review | Three months later...
Full review of the Sony Xperia 5 smartphone three months after launch, to see if this compact version of the Xperia 1 is a worthy rival to the Note 10, OnePlus 7T Pro and other big Androids.
We may well see a proper mini Sony phone again in 2020, but this shrunken version of its latest flagship is still a one-handed wonder. The Xperia 5 has slimmed-down specs in some areas, like the FHD+ screen, but you get that same triple-lens camera setup. Performance is fast and stutter-free with a Snapdragon 855 on board, while the battery life is still dependable despite the smaller cell. I've been using this as my full-time blower and I'd happily stick with it, although the camera tech isn't as great for everyday shots as some rivals. I love watching Netflix on the Sony Xperia 5 though, while the excellent LDAC means a strong Bluetooth connection for enjoying music and movies on the go.
Thanks to Vodafone UK for providing the review sample. You can grab the Xperia 5 from Vodafone now with a Fifa 20 PS4 bundle thrown in, from £53 a month.

Have you been using this long and thin mobile as your personal handset too? Share your own thoughts in the comments below. And check out my full Xperia 5 vs 1 comparison to see what all the differences are.
