Today on Olympus Alliance we begin a brand new series dedicated entirely to one of the most powerful and flexible mechanics in Hero Wars: Alliance — Talismans.
Talismans are unique because they allow players to change the dynamics of a hero from fight to fight. Unlike skins, glyphs, artifacts, or Sparks of Power, which become permanent once upgraded, talismans can be switched depending on the situation.
That means choosing the right talisman can completely change how a hero performs in battle.
In this new series we will analyze every hero’s talismans faction by faction, beginning with the Honour faction.
For each hero we will break down:
⚡ The main stat of the talisman
⚡ The secondary stat that can be rerolled with Metacubes
⚡ Which talisman performs best overall
⚡ Which talisman becomes stronger depending on the opponent
And today we begin with the poster boy of Hero Wars: Alliance — Galahad.
Galahad currently has two talismans:
• Talisman of War – Strength and Critical Hit Chance
• Talisman of Chivalry – Armor Penetration and Physical Attack
Each of these talismans changes the way Galahad performs in battle.
The Talisman of War introduces Critical Hit Chance into his kit, allowing him to synergize with heroes that boost crit mechanics such as Sebastian, Guus, and Oya.
Meanwhile, the Talisman of Chivalry focuses on increasing his raw damage potential through Armor Penetration and Physical Attack, helping him deal more damage against heavily armored opponents.
But which talisman is truly better?
In this video we break down the strengths of both options and explain which one offers the best value overall.
And this is only the beginning of the series.
In the upcoming videos we will continue reviewing talismans for heroes across the Honour faction, followed by other factions in Dominion.
