Rallies like Donald Trump’s have ‘never been seen before’ in modern history

Republican Political consultant Mark Weaver says neither the Republicans nor the Democrats have seen rallies like Donald Trump’s ever before in modern history.

“The energy you’re seeing from Donald Trump supporters is rather remarkable in American politics, neither party has seen rallies like this in modern history,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

Mr Weaver said the booming rallies could possibly indicate a higher voter turnout for President Trump because every attendee at a rally signs up online and provides their phone numbers to the campaign, which means the campaign can use that to contact people and encourage them to vote.
