How to make zero waste shampoo bars!

I have had a lot of people ask me for a recipe using SCI poweder and SCS needles well I have done it for you. Reducing the amount of surfactant and adding other great ingredients to help clean but also not destroy your hair. So in this video I will be making a nice hard bar that can be used in only 1-2 days vs weeks of waiting to cure/dry. I will have other recipes coming out using ingredients that I carry soon!

Here is the recipe that i used! I did a 100 gram batch
SCI Powder (anionic) 35% 35 grams
SCS Needles (anionic) 15% 15 grams
Bubbles and Suds (amphoteric) * 5% 5 grams
*you can use cocamidopropyl betaine here
Foam it up (nonionic) * 10% 10 grams
*you can use decyl glucoside here
Colamoist 200 * 2% 2 grams
*you can use glycerin or other polyquats
Cetearyl Alcohol 30% 30 grams
DL Panthenol 0.25% 0.25 grams
Fragrance 1% 1 gram
preservative 0.75% 0.75 grams
Citric acid for pH adjusting 1%(ish) 1 gram you may have to change the amount if your pH is not adjusting to 5-5.5 end pH.
