Apple’s Forgotten Game Console Failure 🎮🍏#shorts #tech

In 1996, Apple teamed up with Bandai to create a futuristic game console called the Apple Bandai Pippin.

It had internet features, CD-based games, and big ambitions.

But the console cost around $600, had very few games, and arrived just as the Sony PlayStation and Nintendo 64 dominated gaming.

The result? Only about 42,000 units sold, making it one of Apple’s biggest product failures.

Today, the Pippin remains one of the rarest and strangest moments in tech history.
