THE 3 THINGS THAT COMPOUND ON THE TUESDAYS THAT COUNT
▸ SKILL — the deep familiarity that comes from putting in the hours consistently for years. The one most people name first when they talk about how careers get built.

▸ SELF-KNOWLEDGE — the most valuable, least-discussed accumulation. The person who's shown up across hundreds of Tuesdays knows what they actually do — not what they intend to do, not what they think they're capable of under ideal conditions. They have evidence. That accurate read of themselves is the foundation of every good decision a working life requires.

▸ REPUTATION / RESIDUE — the feeling people walk away with from working with you. It got built one ordinary Tuesday at a time, in interactions that didn't seem important while they were happening. Years later, that feeling is what gets pulled up when your name comes up.

Skill grows in proportion to time. The other two grow in proportion to consistency. They only get built by being there, doing the work the same way, on enough Tuesdays that the pattern is impossible to miss.

THE PRIVATE ACCOUNTING
At the end of a working life, there's an accounting nobody else conducts. It doesn't get done in titles or compensation. It gets done in days. And what got done inside them.
