Total Body Mobility. Join Gail for a gentle, slow, joint friendly yoga practice that warms up, loosens, unwinds, soothes, strengthens, and stretches THE WHOLE BODY! This is a JOINT FRIENDLY mobility improving, non impact class designed for real life in a 60+ body.

I’m Gail Spencer-Lamm, a 65+ instructor with 50 years of experience and a gentle approach. I know what it feels like to practice with an aging body, so every move is joint friendly and safe if you have arthritis, stiff hips, or sensitive knees.

This class includes a comprehensive standing warmup, and some ‘down on the mat’ movements which are slow, mindful, and modifiable. We’ll release tension, lubricate, feed and release every joint, and strengthen the core.

Relieve stress with breathing techniques that link breath and movement. Leave this class relaxed, refreshed, and in a better mood.

*This class helps you:*
- Strengthen legs, lower back, buttocks, arms and core muscles for daily life
- Feed and mobilize all the joints and spine
- Improve balance to help prevent falls
- Improve posture and reduce back tension
- Boost mood and melt stress
- Relax and refresh to start your day

*This class is for you if:* You want gentle, effective yoga on the floor and mat with some easy standing yoga as well and need it to be safe for stiff or sensitive joints.

*Props needed:* Yoga mat. Bare feet or grippy socks recommended. Have a wall nearby for balance support if you need it.

*Safety first*: Move pain-free. Skip anything that doesn’t feel good today. Check with your doctor before starting any new exercise program.

About your instructor: I’ve taught fitness for 50 years and I’m still learning right alongside you. My mission is helping you age with strength, grace, and joy.
