The connections between Dio Brando and William Afton are that they are both cruel and sadistic British undead with a horrible parenting record. After escaping from a burning building that was assumed to have killed them, both of them swore to end a specific bloodline, no matter the cost. Both of their powers render them essentially immortal, and they always seem to come back, no matter how badly you think you've beaten them. Even after their true, final death, both of their influences remain strong, as they've both seduced a white-haired apprentice with their power that carried on their legacy long after their death.
