Problem solving: Picking up the feet - trimming preparation part 1

Meet Gigec, an 11 year old gelding who is very much his own boss 😛. He hasn't had his legs handled in years. His hooves were never trimmed, because he was uncooperative or dangerous. He never had his hind legs handled before, so videos of that will be coming soon. I’ve been called to help him get some nice ground manners, so he can respect people’s personal space and cooperate for barefoot trimming and vet appointments. My goal isn’t to “break” him, but to help him learn that people can have good ideas too 😁.
This was our 4th session, I will continue to post his progress over the next couple of months.
