Pinchas Zukerman: Bow Hold / Galamian bowing / Flat Hair (Violin Masterclass)

Using Bach's third Partita prelude as an etude, Pinchas Zukerman shows how to practice the 'Galamian bowing principles', but not to exaggerate the movements involved. You can find other video's on this channel explaining these concepts.

Zukerman also wants his students to spread their right hands fingers on the bow and that, in general, all bow hairs keep contact with the string (flat hair).
