Recently, ISRO received government approval for two major missions.
The first mission is the **Venus Orbiter Mission**.
This mission has a budget of ₹1,236 crore.
Through this mission, we will explore the surface of Venus.
It is believed that Earth and Venus were formed under similar conditions.
This is why scientists are keen to study Venus.
However, this mission will not be easy because temperatures on Venus can exceed **470°C**, and its atmospheric pressure is **92 times higher than Earth’s**.
But this mission will help scientists determine the chances of life on Venus.
The second mission by ISRO is the **Indian Space Station**.
ISRO has also received approval to build India’s very own space station.
The first part of this space station will be launched into space by **2028**.
The complete space station will be operational by **2035**.
This is a crucial step for our space program, as India aims to send humans to the Moon by **2040**.
