Аннотация: Exoskeleton-assisted walking for individuals with neurologic injury or disease is a quickly evolving field of rehabilitation. This technology has the potential to give individuals with severe neurologic injuries the ability to regain upright mobility. As the technologies evolve, it is important to complete well-designed research studies to evaluate safety and feasibility. It is also important to focus on clinical integration of the systems to gain a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced with mainstream clinical use. This talk will review the current literature base associated with exoskeleton use as well as discuss the ways exoskeletons are currently being integrated into clinical practice in the US.
