Prayer for Ammas Grace & Native American Gratitude song by Crystal D. Gingras

Chanting prayer for Amma’s grace, Dhyanashloka. Then singing Native prayer song for gratitude. Singing by Crystal D Gingras, Pawnee Nation. Originally oriented in Nebraska, many of the Pawnees, like other nations were wiped out from the Americans in 1700’s, 1800’s, 1900’s, and are continued to be forced to live on reservations today. Nebraska has a museum that was created from the remains of a burned down home. They are called Pawnee earth lodges. The Pawnee has different bands: Chaui, Pitahauerat (or Tappage), Kitkehahaki (or you say, Kitkeha if you are Kitkehahaki like me), and Skidi (wolf band). I am also a mix of multiple band’s within Pawnee, and also part Otoe, Wyandotte on my mother’s side and Flathead Nation from my fathers side. Pawnees had many healers, astronomers, warriors, fishers, hunters, dancers, and more. For many nations culture was stopped and songs and ceremonies were made illegal by the government. Many of the leaders, healers, warriors were murdered and all land with free clean streams of water, or oil underground was taken over by the government. Day by day, mining, digging, research, and all discoveries of any resources was reason to move (even if had to kill) the original people away from their homes. Now government has taken over all control of the land water oil and makes all humans work and pay. No one is free or has rights to roam on the earth and waters or sky as they once did. The year is 2020. All humans have to pay taxes and work for all homes and transportation and must vaccinate and document all places they roam.
