This week on the Riders Club Roundup:

Ducati has put its 850cc MotoGP prototype on track at Misano with test rider Michele Pirro. The bike features the downsized engine, revised aerodynamics, and Pirelli tires required under the 2027 regulations. Ducati joins KTM and Honda in revealing an 850cc machine on track. Only Aprilia and Yamaha have yet to show theirs. Nicolo Bulega is expected to join the testing program from May or June.

Hunter Lawrence won the Nashville Supercross at Nissan Stadium, taking sole possession of the 450 points lead for the first time. Lawrence left Nashville with a 10-point lead over Roczen, who moved into second. Eli Tomac fell to third, now 15 points back after crashing in the main event and finishing 12th.

Rumors of a BMW M 1300 GS continue to circulate. A performance-focused version of the best-selling adventure bike would be a significant release, but nothing has been confirmed by BMW. Consider this one a strong rumor.
Triumph is recalling 258 units of the 2026 Trident 800 in the US due to headlights that may not have been properly configured for the North American market. Triumph estimates only 16% of those units may actually be affected.

Harley-Davidson has issued a second recall for the 2021 to 2026 Sportster S to address cracking upper triple clamps. This is the same issue from a previous recall that was not fully resolved. A repeat recall for the same defect is not a good look.

Max Verstappen's longtime race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase will join McLaren as chief racing officer when his Red Bull contract expires in 2028. Verstappen's contract also expires in 2028, raising serious questions about whether the four-time champion stays in Formula 1.
