How to Crochet: Christmas Tree Cozy (Beginner Friendly Crochet)

Hello, hi & welcome back! I'm so excited to share my free crochet pattern for this adorable Christmas Tree Cozy! This is a minimalist, Scandinavian crochet design that brings the perfect amount of holiday cheer to your mug without overwhelming the eyes. These coffee mug cozies work up super quickly and make wonderful holiday gift ideas!

This coffee sleeve is comprised of the coffee sleeve base which is crocheted in rows to create a flat rectangle. The tree is stitched onto the cozy using a tapestry needle and the button is added to the top of the tree using a traditional needle and thread. The coffee sleeve base is seamed together at the end also using a tapestry needle. The finished coffee cozy measures approximately 3.5" tall by 4" wide when lying flat. This pattern can be adjusted to fit the width of your mug of choice (see the coffee sleeve base pattern detail in the blog post for adjustment instructions).
