Resin Experimenting | Making a Shaker charm from a Daiso Bear Mold

It was a fun experiment that I hope to try again in the future!
Also...knowing what I do now about resin, I would not try doing this without the proper protective things....Like gloves and a mask.
Resin can be very harmful over time to your skin and lungs!!
Please be safe when using any kids of resin.

I decided to try out an idea I had for a while now......also because I haven’t seen a video showing how to make a shaker charm like this...
So I just decided to try with this mold.
First I painted out the lines for the bear faces and ears
Then I added the resin layers and moved the mold around to let the resin spread out to the edges.
Second was to add water along with the glitter to then freeze.
Last was to quickly add the last outer resin to seal in the ice before it melted.
I forgot that resin heats up really fast😅....
The extra step was for covering up the parts were the resin didn’t seal in the water.

I will be trying more ways to do this with future molds!
