Many other tutorials share GoDaddy's old interface and are out-of-date. Keep in mind; you don't even have to own or have control of the destination--you can forward the existing GoDaddy domain name you own to literally ANY other destination on the web... google.com, nytimes.com or anything else if you want (even your Facebook profile!)
