Eviola Nakhla, MD ’22 is a Global Health Program student who served as Co-Editor in Chief of The UCLA Beat Art and Literary Journal and as Social Chair of the Medical Student Council. She’ll be a pediatric resident at @UCLAHealth's @UCLAPedsResidency.

“I’m proud to be part of UCLA because the individualized care and support I’ve received during these challenging medical school years have made UCLA feel like family. I am thankful to be part of a diverse community where my career interests will be nurtured, as I serve and give back to the Los Angeles community I grew up in. As a first generation Egyptian American medical graduate, I wouldn’t be here today without the sacrifices of my family and their continuous support and prayers.
