AIRSTREAM RENOVATION Episode 6 || LIFTING OUR AIRSTREAM SHELL & FRAME WORK

We bought a 1973 Airstream Safari! We found an Airstream while traveling on the west coast in our Toyota RV, and decided it was time to start a new project! We will be completely renovating this airstream from the ground up. This is our second time around renovating an RV, so this will be an interesting experience!

We’ve been working up to this big moment for months now! We finally reached the point where we are ready to lift our Airstream off the frame! HUGE GULP. We have combined the last 3 weeks of work into this one episode. We worked on the frame, and got it ready to be painted, as well as built a bracing structure on the interior of the Airstream. This was a family effort from both sides of our family, and we are so incredibly thankful to have a family that gets just as excited as we do about crazy projects like this!
