Remaking Salt Bae's $1000 Gold Steak

I CANNOT believe what the experience is like eating at Salt Bae's restaurant. Naturally, one would expect they make a great steak, and the truth is, they do. Or at least they did in my experience. They also have a very friendly, fantastic staff. But at what price? For a whopping final bill of nearly $3,000 for two people, they provided a meal that I could reasonably purchase and cook on my own for $150, including the edible gold leaf. Now, before going any further, I must admit. Salt Bae has built a fascinating empire around a very simple action...sprinkling salt. Yet, while impressive, I wanted to experience it all for myself.

While I was bummed Salt Bae wasn't at the restaurant in the flesh, the staff put on quite the show and I had a great experience. I don't have plans to return purely given the price, but I'm glad I was able to experience this after hearing so much about it on the internet. Oh, and our waiter was really handsome.
