Grow Your Own! | Cucumbers

Nothing tastes better than homegrown veggies. July is the month when our garden is thriving. Most of the plants that we started from seeds grew enough, and we can harvest the fruits of our work.
Our cucumbers are really generous this year, and there is no day we go to the garden and not return with a full basket. The taste of the homegrown cucumbers is incomparable with the store-bought, which are usually heavily fertilized, and except they can cause you a stomachache, they cannot last in the fridge even 2-3 days. Not to mention the price of most vegetables, which gets higher and higher every year. So many good reasons to grow your own - tastier, fresher, and cheaper!
