A traditional procession with torches in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 began in Yerevan. According to various estimates, about 10 thousand people gathered on the Republic Square. People will walk along the central streets and finish the action at the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex.

The protesters burned the flag of Turkey to the cries of "We fight!"
Tomorrow, April 24, is the anniversary of the tragic events. Thousands of Armenians will head to Tsitsernakaberd to lay flowers at the eternal fire and honor the memory of the dead.
