SIMPLE Bak Chang Recipe | Traditional Pork Rice Dumpling with Salted Egg Yolk | No Frills Recipe

- SECRET INGREDIENTS? (Salted egg yolks and braised peanuts)
- MAXIMUM satisfaction, minimal effort!
- Ingredients (Glutinous rice, meat, braised peanut, chinese mushrooms, salted egg yolks and oil)
- Seasonings (Coriander powder, salt, white pepper, dark soy sauce)
- Bamboo leaves for wrapping (soaked in boiling water for 30mins and wiped clean with a cloth)
- Raffia strings to tie the dumplings (50cm for each dumpling, knotted at one end in bundles of 10)

NOTE:
- You can also hook the bunch of untied strings to something (e.g. back of a chair) while you wrap the dumplings. It'll make it easier...
- You can add other ingredients that you enjoy (roasted chestnuts (gao lak), baby dried shrimps, garlic etc.)
- You can fry the glutinous rice first (in dark soy sauce, with dried shrimps etc.)
