Amazing E-Bike Rides | Grand Canyon South Rim Bike Trail

In this video we travel to Arizona for an e-bike ride around the Grand Canyon's South Rim. We start from the parking area at the South Kalib Trailhead. Then follow the multi-use bike trail up to Mather Point. Then we proceed to follow the Grand Canyon Greenway Trail all the way to Grand Canyon Village. These are flat, paved trails with amazing views of the South Rim and which are also good for children.

Note: In the video I show clips from Mather Point and Mather Point Amphitheater. You can not ride bikes on this part of the South Rim trail. You could probably walk your bike, or lock it up to a tree or bike rack. The clips of Mather Point were shot on a different day when we walked the South Rim Trail. I would highly recommend setting aside time to walk the rim trail. The best viewing points on the south rim can't be reached by bikes.

We are Ebike Explorers! This is a channel about electric mountain bike riding for regular people. We are not hardcore mountain bike riders. If you are looking to see trail videos where the riders drop off 8,000 ft mountains at 45° angles you are in the wrong place (at least for now). We are full-time professionals who live in Henderson Nevada which is about 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Most of the videos you will see on this channel feature bike trails around the Las Vegas valley. Although we were avid bike riders before, the change to ebikes (EMTB) has opened up a whole new world of exploration and adventure for which we hope you will join us. Side note: Although we thoroughly love riding our e-mountain bikes for exercise and adventure, bike riding is our primary form of meditation and stress relief. Our bike rides allow for a few hours without our laptops, and without our phones where we can stay focused on being in the moment. Just like meditation and yoga, when we bike ride, we focus on our breathing, we push our bodies to feel more, and, we get to see some of the most spectacular scenic landscapes, sunsets and wildlife that the Mojave dessert has to offer.Whether you are a Las Vegas local or visiting from any where in the world, our hope is that with these videos we will encourage you to take advantage of the extensive Nevada bike trail system.
